Back in 1990, I was fortunate enough to be asked to illustrate a shirt for Dio's "Lock Up The Wolves" tour....Wendy and Ronnie were the best to work with and I consider the shirt a very special part of my past illustrations...Having Ronnie tell me how much he liked my work was the best compliment I've ever had...I got to meet both of them during the tour and they couldnt of been more friendly (Ronnie told me while discussing the upcoming NFL season that the Giants would win the SupoerBowl that year, and damn if he wasnt right !). Losing Dio and master artist Frank Frazetta in the same week has been terrible...Peace to Wendy and everyone that was touched by the greatest metal vocalist we'll ever know.

When I was 6-7 yrs old, I begged my Mom to take me to see this film. Due to my excitement, we got to the theatre early, catching the last few minutes of the first film of the double feature(remember those?). Anyway, here's me, Coke and popcorn in hand and my Mom sitting in the theatre as a girl sticks a violin bow right into the eye socket of some deranged killer...blood everywhere.
My Mom turns to me and says, as she's clutching her purse, "I'm going to be outside in the car waiting for you when your movies over".
Thanks Mom for warping me for life...XOX.
